Great Day

Today has been an amazing day. It is not over yet, but I have come into contact with some amazing people and other amazing things have happened.

First and foremost, today was the day we delivered goodies to seniors in Morgantown for In Touch and Concerned. This day can be sad, but this time, it was amazing. I met Virginia Hunt, Kathleen Smith and Mary Francis. They are 89, 85 and 93 respectively. I received three "thank yous," three hugs and three kisses on the cheek. Virginia was actually waiting for us when we pulled up and had the biggest smile on her face.

Visiting these women was a true blessing. I know they enjoyed it, but I am not sure they realize what I gained from it. I am thankful that I am able to have the ability to do this type of thing in my life and meet the people I come in contact with.

Also today, I went to Weight Watchers and weighed in 2.5 pounds lighter than last week. I broke into new numbers as I have now lost 51.5 pounds. YAH! I am so excited. Then, I received my grade from my current class and FINALLY received my first A. Let's just hope the rest of this day continues with more of the same.
