The Life and Times...

My friend adores the Chinese Proverb: May you live in interesting times. In fact, she too has that on her blog. I want to adopt it...We all definitely live in interesting times whether they are fabulous, exhausting or jinxed. No matter what, let us all live like there is "No Day but Today!"

And to think...

I said I was going to be a better Blogger - lets face it, I am a bad Blogger. I will try to do better with it, but I feel as though it will be much easier to Blog sometime after May 2007.

I cannot wait until May. I will officially be done with school. I graduate early May with my MS in IMC. YEAH! I cannot wait to be done with school. I told TJ to remind me that I do not want to go back to school again - twice has certainly been enough. He is supposed to remind me to not go back if I ever say I want to do something else. If you are reading this, if I ever say that to you, remind me I am wrong too!

In other news, I am a little sad. I go back and read the last Blog I wrote - 37lbs in 13 weeks. Now, almost 6 weeks later, I am only 43.5 lbs down. :( I knew this was going to slow down, but how sad. I need to get my crap together and work harder. I pledge to have no more cake and cookies, no more Cheetos and scalloped potatoes. I want to be skinny - not fat. I am ready to start a new again! I want to be down to 62 total by the end of November. I doubt it will happen, but it is the goal. If it doesn't happen, I will keep on trucking. Trust that! This is not going to be a dieting adventure that turns into another roller-coaster!

Also, tonight was the Boss Lady's big 50th Birthday Celebration. HAPPY B-Day BARB! They most certainly had a great party for her. There was a huge pig roast, lots of other goodies and desserts (don't worry, I stayed away for the most part!). They also had a musician, open bar and bon fire. The most exciting thing was the crazy huge fireworks show. A lot of us talked about how cool it was to have your very own fireworks for you - just for you - in celebration of you, being you. Trust me, she does deserve it!

I decided I would like fireworks for my birthday sometime in my life too. Unfortunately, I will probably have to move my birthday to July and have everyone down to the Warf to celebrate MY birthday. Do you think I could make everyone believe that WVAQ did all those fireworks just for me?

I kinda doubt that too!

Anyway, it was good to catch up with everyone - no promises, but I will try to Blog again soon!

Linz :)
