Hi readers. I am so sorry to keep you wondering what is going on in the Life and Times of Yours Truly!
I know I promised a recap of Christmas and New Years, but I now also feel that the time has past for such a recap. I will give you this...Christmas was longer this year...it seemed. We spent a lot of time driving to different places to visit different family member. Those who know me are now thinking..."What is so different about this Christmas?" We also had to add in visits to see Grandpa H in the hospital. (No worries, he is out now and doing much better.) I would assume that we spent more than 1/2 of our holiday in a car. Maybe that is an exaggeration, but it did feel like we spent a lot of time driving to visit.
New Years was great. We went to Jacksonville, FL for the Gator Bowl. It was sad in one sense though because my parents were unable to come due to Grandpa still being in the hospital, but we did still have fun. We watched the most amazing fireworks at exactly midnight. We were so close to them that there were ashes falling on our heads. And of course, the next day, we pulled through a victory and won the Gator Bowl! FINALLY! Let's Go '
EERS!
In other news, I have now lost 52 pounds, I am participating in 2 biggest loser contests, I am in my last class before the capstone course for my Masters, I am working to get my brokers license, Trinity had to have surgery AGAIN yesterday (which cancelled our trip to MD to see Jonathan and Tiffany), I am working on a Saturday morning because the agent forgot to come to work, and...
Now that you are all caught up...I can tell you about the Interesting Times...Indeed. First of all, I got a call this morning from an agent who went on a listing presentation. The lady
specifically asked for this agent. When the agent was going through the house, she went into a room where a college kid was getting a blow job. No one seemed to mind that she had opened the door and walked in on this. Weird! Then, a guy came to the door to drop off a sellers disclosure statement. Not all too weird, this happens, HOWEVER, he had a bird - like a parrot - on his shoulder. Then, I read what his name is and, as it turns out, he is the oldest son of my Freshman year Resident Faculty Leaders. I thought he looked
familiar, just more grown up. As it turns out, he has had 2 tours of duty in Iraq. Everyone knew he would end up in the
military OR in
military school! I am glad to see that he has turned out well.
Anywho, now you all know. All six of you faithful readers! :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend - keep warm out there -
